I'm quite excited for the marathon coming up - I just put in Desmond and I's registration for it. I'm looking forward to drumming up as many sickles as my constituency can manage to let go because, as staid and cliche as it has become, the children are our future. The more we can provide for their stability, their education and their well-being, the better set up we are as a society to achieve our future goals. It's an investment that we cannot afford NOT to make.

So please, if you aren't up to the athletic challenge, please consider donating to help some of the most vulnerable of our society. And if you are -- well, I'll see you out there!

I love weddings. If I could financially and socially justify having one every other year or so, I'd do it. They are such good generators of business - fashion, catering, floral, stationary, flying horses - and so lovely! Besides, the foundation of Britain is the family unit and the creating of every one only strengthens us as a nation.

I just in my order for Tetha's wedding to get her something lovely designed up in silver. Not so much a gift for now, but a gift for the future - an heirloom to pass down to her children and children's children, so on and so forth. Goblins do just do the best work when it comes to metallurgy and hopefully she'll appreciate my restraint when it came to design.
